Frederik earned his MD and PhD at Aarhus University in Denmark. During his PhD in virology, he developed CAR T cells against HIV. During his postdoc in the Majzner Lab, Frederik will be working on AND-gate CAR T cells to overcome on-target/off-tumor toxicities when treating solid tumors. Outside the lab, Frederik has his hands full with his two kids and loves to spend time outdoors, running, biking, and hiking.
