Alberto is a biochemist who earned his PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Barcelona, Spain, where he focused on the epigenetic and epitranscriptomic characteristics of leukemia. He is now at Dana-Farber, pursuing his dream of discovering novel therapeutic strategies against cancer. Collaborating with both the Majzner and Stegmaier labs, Alberto aims to bridge CAR T cell engineering with cancer epigenetics. Outside the lab, he enjoys playing the piano, listening to jazz and classical music, reading, cooking, and most of all, spending quality time “philosophizing” with good friends.
