Lara is a pediatric resident from Graz, Austria. During her MD training at the University of Graz in Austria, she tested gut microbiome interactions in neurodegenerative diseases and later worked on methylation profiling of spinal ependymomas in children. At Dana-Farber, she now focuses with Kevin on a collaborative project between the Majzner Lab and the Filbin Lab, developing ganglioside-directed CAR T cells for children with brain tumors. Outside the lab, Lara loves running, reading, playing the piano, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her friends.
