Maria Caterina obtained her PhD in Molecular and Translational Medicine from the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy, by training in immunology and CAR engineering at the Fondazione Tettamanti (Monza, Italy). She is interested in developing innovative strategies to prevent tumor immune escape following adoptive transfer of CAR T cells.
